Recovery Tank Rinse Procedure

  • Drain the Recovery Tank in accordance with local laws.
  • Connect a Supply Hose (garden hose) to the Rinse System Inlet Valve
  • Turn water on at the faucet.
  • Open Recovery Tank Drain Valve.
  • Open the Rinse System Inlet Valve.
  • Allow the Recovery Tank Rinse System to rinse/flush the tank out for the desired amount of time, usually 3 to 5 minutes.

NOTE: To flush the bottom of the tank more thoroughly, close the Drain Valve and allow the Recovery Tank to fill with a few inches of water and reopen the valve.

Important: Do not allow the Rinse System to fill the Recovery Tank, as it will overflow the tank.

  • Once Rinse Procedure has been completed:
  • Turn water off at the faucet.
  • Close the Rinse System Inlet Valve.
  • Disconnect the Supply Hose (garden hose).
  • Once remaining water has been drained from the Recovery Tank, close the Drain Valve.
